Meet Scott Brown, Managing Director
Scott is a financial leader with over 20 years of experience building the finance and accounting functions of high growth businesses while helping them make significantly more money. He founded the Shared Finance Center in 2013 with a mission of providing comprehensive finance office support to business owners so they can focus solely on running their business.
Prior to founding The Shared Finance Center, Scott spent 11 years with Cox Enterprises where he helped to grow their digital ventures in the automotive industry, first with Autotrader.com and then at Manheim Auto Auctions. Prior to this, Scott held roles as the controller for a publicly traded healthcare technology firm and also as the controller for an early online content service provider. He also performed business advisory services for a boutique investment banking firm serving the early stage market where he helped numerous small business owners position their companies for profitable expansion.
Scott earned his BBA and MBA from Southern Methodist University with concentrated studies in Corporate Finance and Accounting. In addition to his corporate roles Scott has served as an advisor to several startups as well as starting and selling a mobile app company of his own.
Scott plays an active role in the community having served in numerous volunteer roles. He, his wife and their four daughters live in Roswell, Georgia.
